Caroline Cuif - Expedition organiser

Caroline LetrangeCho Oyu | Tibet

Caroline Cuif-Letrange is a Tour leader and a successful expedition organiser with 100% success on Mt Kenya and Mt Kilimanjaro in 2009. She attempted Mt Everest in 2006 and Cho Oyu in 2004 after years spent on mountain routes in Chamonix in the French Alps.

Born in France in 1970, Caroline grew up in Normandy where she has always been involved in sports events and junior competitions. She graduated in Law and History of Art and in 1995 became a freelance webdesigner for major multimedia agencies in Paris. Soon, Caroline began to travel throughout Europe and started mountain climbing with friends every summer season in the French Alps where she developed a real passion for the mountains.

In 2000, she climbed Mt Kilimanjaro and then traveled extensively in Asia and Africa where she
developed significant contacts. In 2007, Caroline moved to London to set up Reach Summit  along with mountain experts and professional guides. Today, although she lives between London and Kathmandu, she always enjoys travelling around the globe to lead successful mountain trips.

Caroline is also a photographer and a consultant for major outdoor brands.

When off the mountain trails, Caroline can be found running, windsurfing, mountain biking or chilling out with friends around a nice bottle of french wine.
