Climbing in Chamonix in France is a great challenge for all experienced alpinists and beginners alike. The valley is also the right place to acquire the climbing technique in exposed alpine terrain. Our mountaineering course give you the chance to learn the use of climbing rope, ice-axe and crampons.
The route is designed to suit your needs allowing the best flexibility possible to your physical health, mountain skills and weather conditions. We offer a vast range of training courses to prepare yourself to bigger alpine adventure.
Itinerary
- Day 1 : Welcome in Chamonix. Chat with your guide to discuss equipment and program.
- Day 2 : Ice training day. Learn basic crampon and ice-axe techniques in a friendly atmosphere.
- Day 3 : Easy mountain excursion to more technical route depending your skills.
- Day 4 : Perfect your skills (via ferrata, avalanche awareness & rescue technique ...)
- Day 5 : Departure day. Final briefing. Training course ends after breakfast.
Alpine training course
This alpine training course is designed to teach you the basis of mountain techniques to prepare for Mont Blanc or any other climbing adventure. The program covers a wide range of fundamental knowledge that your gude will adapt to your skills and needs : rope knots, snow & ice crampon technique, glacier travel and crevasse rescue, abseiling, belaying avalanche awareness & rescue technique ... your experienced guide will assist you at all times for a very exciting mountain skills training.

Qualified UIAGM mountain guides
Our guides are all UIAGM qualified and registered at the Compagnie des Guides. They live in the valley and have an unrivalled knowledge of the Chamonix valley mountains. Their affiliation to the Compagnie des Guides or Syndicat des Guides allow them to have priority access to differents services
(weather report, cable car queues, places in huts ...).
We work with a team that we know personally and with whom we've been working for years. They have years of experience guiding in the Mont Blanc massif and the surrounding region. They are competent, highly skilled, speak english as well as french and will always assist you personnaly with professionalism.
Training program
The training session routes are suitable for any fit trekker to experienced climber with a good level of fitness and good physical shape. The routes will be chosen by your guide to always suit your needs.
