Lake Manyara is an alkaline shallow lake that offers a virtual microcosm of the Tanzanian safari experience. The lake lies at the feet of jagged blue volcanic peaks that rise from the endless Masai Steppes. Baboons, girafes, lions, large buffalos and the Tanzania’s birdlife with more than 400 species recorded included flamingos and pelicans are the beauties of this majestic place.
Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most spectacular natural wonders that exists surrounded by an impressive range of volcanic mountains. Created by the collapse of a massive volcano, this vast flat-bottomed caldeira contains is a microcosm of East African safari. A typical game drive reveals vast herds of zebras, wildebeest, buffalos, antelopes (as the tessebe), gazelles and the lion basking in the sun.
Itinerary
- Day 1 : Tarangire National Park
Leaving Arusha at 8am, you drive to Tarangire National Park for full day safari trip. Tarangire river is the only source of water for wild animals during the dry seasons where Elephants, lions, zebras and antelopes gather to drink water. Admire the strange shape of the baobab trees and track the African pythons in the savanah. Pinic lunch. O/N at Kigongoni camp.
- Day 2 : Tarangire to Karatu Village
Enjoy a nice cup of coffee in the chilly break of day folowed by a short game drive in the park. Back to the camp, you drive for about 1 hour to Karatu village which lies on Ngorongoro highlands. At Bougainvillea lodge, you walk for 45 minute to visit a coffee plantation. Back to the lodge for dinner. O/N in lodge.
- Day 3 : Ngorongoro Crater tour
You drive to Ngorongoro conservation area for full day game drive in the crater. Enjoy the fantastic panoramic view of the rift valley. The crater has the densest known population of lions with leopards, elephants, jackals, Cheetahs and hundreds species of birds including flamingos on lake Makati. The crater is mostly open grassland with two small wooded areas dominated by Acacia. Picnic lunch near Ngoitoktok Lake. O/N in Simba camp.
- Day 4 : Serengeti National Park
From early morning, you head to Serengeti National park via the Olduvai Gorge. The route winds over the Ngorongoro hill for a spectacular view of the Rift Valley and the Gol Mountains on the Northern part of the Ngorongoro crater. The Serengeti offers one of the most fascinated game-viewing in Africa with Thomson gazelle, grants gazelle and Impalas mixing with gnus, zebras, topi, lions and elands. O/N in camp.
- Day 5 : Full day in Serengeti National Park
Enjoy an amazing early safari in the cool morning to Seronera, the centre of the Serengeti National Park. Come back to the camp for breakfast. Appreciate a late game drive to observe lions, leopards and zebras. Have a hot lunch at the camp and relax for few hours on the hottest time of the day. As the sun comes down, drive along the savanah for a late afternoon game drive till sunset. O/N at Seronera public camp.
- Day 6 : Lake Manyara National Park
At daybreak you drive to Mto wa Mbu village for full day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Watch elephants, giraffes, gnus, buffalos, warthogs, zebras, gazelles, waterbucks, lions, cheetah in the tropical forest. Picnic lunch the drive west to the lake. Lake Manyara is a shallow freshwater lake which is the home of thousands of migrating birds, flamengoes, pelicans and herons. Lake Manyara provides opportunities for ornithologists keen on viewing and observing over 300 migratory birds and observe the hippos on the shores of the lake. O/N at Mto wa Mbu village in the Twiga or Jambo camp.
- Day 7 : Lake Manyara safari & back to Arusha
Early morning game drive along the savanah at dawn. Back to the camp for lunch and drive back to Arusha. O/N in Hotel.

At dawn we take off with the sun rise for 1 hour flight at treetop height. The balloon flight is unique experience and a stunning moment over Serengeti Plains. Photograpers will have great opportunities to take amazing cliches of the wildlife below. Champagne included !

Our 4X4 Vehicule are confortable and fitted especially for safaris with opening game viewing roof hatches also called « pop-up roof » to experience the wildlife viewing under the shade. Our Land Cruisers have a large luggage space behind the seats for bags and cameras, a roof rack for gear and large space for your legs. Our drivers are very experienced to guide you with safety in the African bush and know how to approach wildlife with full respect of the ecosystem and the animals' life.
We provide a local Guide, expert in Parks' Animal Life and Flora and most of them have grown on the foothills of Kilimanjaro. They have an unrivalled knowledge of the region where they are born and live to share with you their experience of the different tribes and cultures for a perfect safari experience.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION :
For safety matters, during your safari & game drive in parks, you are not allowed to get out of the Jeep and walk out of your tent at night.
