Caroline Cuif

Caroline Cuif
 
Caroline Cuif is a successful travel organiser with a great success on Mt Kenya and Mt Kilimanjaro (100% of success in 2009). She climbed Cho Oyu in 2004 and Mt. Everest in 2006 after years spent on mountain routes in Chamonix in the French Alps where she has developed a real passion for the mountains.

Born in France in 1970, Caroline grew up in Normandy where she has always been involved in sporting events. Although being a late starter to mountaineering at the age of 25, she has travelled extensively to Nepal, where she now lives 5 months a year, allowing her to develop significant contacts in this field.

In 2000, she climbed Mt Kilimanjaro and then travelled extensively in Asia and Africa where she developed significant contacts. In 2007, Caroline moved to London to set up Reach Summit. Today, although she lives between London and Kathmandu, she always enjoys travelling around the globe to lead successful mountain trips.

Caroline is also a consultant for major outdoor brands.
 
When off the mountain trails, Caroline can be found running, windsurfing, mountain biking or chilling out with friends around a nice bottle of French wine. Photo Gallery >

Katy Dartford is a freelance journalist and travel writer. Trained in Broadcast Journalism at Falmouth College of Arts and with a MA in English Literature from Edinburgh University, she has reported, researched and read bulletins for stations including BBC London, BBC London Sport, Heart, talkSPORT, Newsbeat and 5 Live. Prior to this Katy worked full time as a Television Broadcast Journalist at BBC South East.
 
Her interest in travel writing came after visiting countries like the USA, Venezuela, India and travelling throughout Europe. She wanted to use her journalism skills to share these experiences and has since had articles published on websites like Radio 1 Newsbeat, Pro Traveller, Sports Sister and Simon Seeks. Nina Anderson

Nina Anderson Fitness Running coach

Nina has a background in Olympic lifting. She devises individual event specific weight programmes which can be easily incorporated into a training schedule. This work can substantially help to improve performance and plays a major role in the prevention of injury. Weight programmes would always incorporate an initial phase of strength and conditioning. In addition to basic training programmes Nina also teaches running drills. These are specific plyometric running exercises which, if performed correctly can serve a multitude of useful functions including improved performance and injury prevention.

At 35 Nina became eligible to compete as a Master (or Veteran) and so since 2007 has focused her efforts on securing medals at the World Masters and European Veterans Championships.

Dr. Yohan Servais

Born in Cluses in the heart of the Chamonix valley, French Alps, Yohan is an accomplished skier, adventurer and mountain doctor (for high-altitude expeditions) . He got his diploma of parasitology and tropical medecine few years ago, became a mountain and expedition doctor working with the Ifremmont Institute, got his certificate of sport traumatology and became co-president of the PHYSIOSPORT association which provides medical assistance in Ironman or Adventure raid sporting events. Today he make himself indispensable in mountain ski resorts in the Chamonix Valley where he specialises in emergency trauma. In his spare time, Yohan wanders the world travelling through Nepal, Burkina faso, Patagonia, Norway, Senegal or running the 160km of the Mont Blanc Ultra-Trail race. Photo Gallery >

A certified Guide, member of the UIAGM, Antoine has been deeply fascinated by mountaineering and ice climbing for more than 20 years. Living in Chamonix he practices almost daily winter mountaineering, ice climbing, ski raids hikes and technical climbing. Enthusiastic and a traveller through and through, Antoine knows how to communicate to his group his love of climbing, trekking and mountaineering in countries like Mali, Oman, Nepal and, of course, in the Alps and in Corsica. Addicted to mountain « premiere », he has opened many new climbing itineraries - mixed, rocky or glacial in the Alpine Massif. Open-minded and warm hearted, Antoine is a great communicator.

Born in 1972, Nicolas made his first steps in the mountain in the Pyrenees. He has always loved the taste of the wild and has a real passion for travelling off the beaten track to discover the mountain trails. Nicolas became aspiring Guide in 2002 and a Professional Mountain Guide in 2005. He now lives in the Haute-Savoie valley in Saint Gervais in the heart of the Mont-Blanc valley with his wife and 3 children.

Arnold Coster Reach Summit expedition leader

Born in the Netherlands, Arnold grew up in Rotterdam. He got the passion for climbing since he is 15 when taclking mountain routes with his father. He first came to Nepal in 2000 to climb Manaslu. Since then, Arnold has lead six succesfull Everest expeditions, as well as Cho Oyu,  Baruntse, Ama Dablam, Shishapangma, and  Lhakpa Ri and became a highly-skilled mountain professional. Arnold now lives in Kathmandu with his Nepali wife Maya Sherpa who was the first Nepali woman on numerous peaks as Ama Dablam 6812m, Pumori 7112m, Cho Oyu 8211m, Khan Tengri 7010m. Arnold is a sponsored athlete by Eider, Camp, Aku and Osprey.
